The square emblem of The Pandharpur Merchant Co-op. Bank Ltd. has a yellow panel holding the motifs of a poorna kumbha being presented by a pair of hands placed in a white circle surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मी: करमध्ये सरस्वती’ meaning ‘Lakshmi Resides at the Tip of the Hand Saraswati in the Middle of the Hand’ and supported by its year of inception. The name of the bank written in Devanagari is placed above these. The poorna kumbha symbolises the fullness or completeness of life is presented by the hands of the bank to its customers. The colour yellow signifies happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity.

COTTON UNIVERSITY Cotton University (CU) was formerly known as Cotton College, the institute was established in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form.
