The emblem of Malla Reddy Institute of Technology and Science (MRITS) features a hand holding a burning torch supported by an open book placed on a green gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a green banner inscribed with its initials ‘MRITS’ and its motto in Sanskrit. This assemblage is placed on a gold circle inscribed with the status of the college. Below the circle, on a golden banner the initials ‘MRITS’ is inscribed. The torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power symbolises; the book refers to  knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the gearwheel denotes engineering, technology, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
