The grey colour emblem of Government Engineering College, Buxar (GEC Buxar) features a circle housing the motifs of an open book and a quill pen supported by the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम सर्वोत्तम सम्पदा’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Greatest Wealth’. These motifs are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari and English. The quill pen is a powerful, universal symbol of communication, creativity, and intellectual pursuit; and the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.

RV UNIVERSITY RV Educational Institutions (RVEI), governed by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). RV University is a State private university which has been established in Karnataka State with RSST as the sponsoring body through Act No.11 of 2019. The emblem of the university in gold colour has a sun symbolising platform for growth; an open book symbolising knowledge and learning and a tree symbolising continuous growth and development. At the bottom of this motif on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्ञाः धीराः’ meaning  ‘The Wisdom Being Patient’ is placed. At the right of the pictorial its name is written in two lines using sans serif font. Below its name its slogan ‘Go, Change the World’ is written in italics.

The text at the bottom of the frame is the institute's acronym in Devanagari ‘भा.प्रा.रा.गो.सं.’ with its English counterpart ‘IINRG’, on the right. The foliage of the palas tree is historically and economically the most significant host plant utilised for lac cultivation in India. SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) was established on February 10, 1949 under the Poona University Act. The lotus shaped emblem of SPPU has Shaniwar Wada, the palace of Peshwas of the Maratha Empire founded By Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the bottom left and right are the Fort of Raigad, the capital of the empire and the Parvati Hill Temple of Pune respectively, placed inside a circle.
