The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Nagalapuram (GASCNPM) features a blue circle housing the motifs of a yellow shield inscribed with the motifs of a satellite, an open book and a computer and a pair of laurels. On a red banner placed below the shield, the motto of the college in Tamil is inscribed. A white circular border ensconcing the blue circle is inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the satellite and computer refers to science and technology; the book refers to learning, knowledge, education and wisdom; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
