The circular seal of Toms College of Engineering (TCE) features the motifs of a traditional lamp, an open book, a t-square, a setsquare, a computer monitor, a tablet, an antenna and an airplane placed inside a gearwheel and ensconced by glowing sun. The seal is supported by a banner inscribed with its motto ‘Varsity ofIdeal Eclat and Thrive’ The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity and the other motifs denotes the engineering education.

On the top right corner is the Rod of Aesculapius (also called Asklepios), the ancient mythical god of medicine. No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
