The tree formed by hands refers to the support and nourishment given by these hands in nurturing the pupils’ aspirations in the pursuit of yoga. The tree refers to strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity and the colour brownies red resilience, dependability, security and safety.

At the bottom, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘‘கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு’ (Thiruvalluvar, 396, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed is placed on the seal. Athiyaman and Avvaiyar refer to history and heritage; the book, sun and the humans refer to education and educational achievement; the tree refers to nature, sustenance and growth; the computer refers to technology; and the dam refers to the local landmark.
