The logo of Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) is a glowing sun housing the monogram of HZ with its name written on the right. Its tagline 'Zinc & Silver of India' is written below its name on a blue band. The horizontal strokes of ‘Z’ in the monogram are depicted like ingots of silver and zinc. The sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the black mystery, power, elegance and sophistication denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. The circular emblem of the university has an open book supporting a lotus with a background of mountains and surmounted by atomic structure. These are ensconced by a yellow circular border which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ on one side and its name in Kashmiri on the other side.
