The circular seal of Hatha Vidya Gurukulam (HVG) has a circle with sun housing a crescent moon holding an image of a sage practising yoga. These are ensconced by a circle with a brown outline. It is placed within a circular border with a brown outline. The border carries the name of the ashram and the name of its yoga tradition. The sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the crescent moon represents life and death and the sage represents tradition and age. The emblem gives a feel of ancient and traditional at the same time.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
