It is further circumscribed by a blue border on which its name is inscribed along with its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपदा सेवा सदैव सर्वत्र’ meaning ‘Sustained Disaster Response Service Under All Circumstances’. This is further bordered by a motif of eighteen humans holding their hands together. This assemblage is supported by a pair of golden laurels and crested by the Nation Emblem. At the bottom, on a red banner with golden edges its motto is inscribed in Sanskrit. The blue triangle refers to trust and stability; the orange circle refers to disaster; humans refers to unity and strength and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
