GODAVARI RIVER MANAGEMENT BOARD

The oval-shaped insignia of Godavari River Management Board (GRMB) houses the motifs of a drop of water supported by a pair of hands; clouds; a water dam; a water tap and a flowing river with a boat and vegetation on the sides. These are ensconced in an oval border with blue outlines, in which its name is written in Devanagari, Telugu and English. Below the oval, on a banner, its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योती रसोऽमृतं’ meaning ‘All Pervading Divine Effulgence is Divine Essence, Immortal and Nectar-like Blissful’. The motifs in the oval represent water and water management for the society.
