MONITORING SYSTEM FOR TIGER, INTENSIVE PROTECTION AND ECOLOGICAL STATUS

The circular seal of the Monitoring System for Tiger, Intensive Protection and Ecological Status has a grey tree with a deer and a tiger on either side with footprints of human and tiger originating from the bottom of the tree on a green background. The parallel footprints denote the protection offered by humans to animals and their ecology. The motifs are ensconced by a white border with black outline, which is inscribed with its name in Devanagari and English.

General of Army Lord Baden Powell conducted an experimental camp in Brown Sea Island in England with 20 boys. Lord Baden Powell decided to start a movement for Girls with the help of his sister Agnes Baden Powell. Scouting started in India in the year 1909, when Captain T. H. Baker established the first Scout Troop in Bangalore. After the independence of our country, efforts were made for unification of the Scout and Guide Associations functioning in India.
