EMBLEM OF LAKSHADWEEP
The archipelago of Lakshadweep is the tiniest Union Territory of India consists of twelve atolls, three reefs and five submerged banks. It is an uni-district Union Territory with an area of 32 square kilometre comprising ten inhabited islands, seventeen uninhabited islands attached islets, four newly formed islets and five submerged reefs. The inhabited islands are Kavaratti, Agatti, Amini, Kadmat, Kiltan, Chetlat, Bitra, Andrott, Kalpeni and Minicoy. Bitra is the smallest of all having only a population of 271 persons and Bangaram is the uninhabited island. The emblem of Lakshadweep shows the Dharma Chakra, supported by two coral fish and crested by a coconut palm-tree. Below is a banner in the name of the territory and in the colours of the national flag.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. The book represents knowledge and education; the atom denotes science and the candle denotes light and guidance to discover the unknown.

The circle is supported by a pair of laurels. The one with the mortarboard hat is the teacher and the other one is the student; the book refers to the knowledge and education imparted by the faculty in the college; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’. Inside the border, motifs of a drum, supported by a pair of horns; an open book topped by a red sun ; a banyan tree and a pair of crests of millets are placed. The banyan tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the open book denotes knowledge, education, wisdom and learning and horns, drum and crests of millets denote tribal culture and food.

The gearwheel is ensconced by a circular border with brown outlines inscribed with the name and place of the college. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels. The motto of the college in Sanskrit in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a green banner with red outlines. The gearwheel denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines offered by the college.

SARVA HARYANA GRAMIN BANK Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank (SHGB), Haryana’s Apna Bank (हरियाणा का अपना बैंक) came to existence on November 29, 2013 under RRB Act 1976, out of amalgamation of Haryana Gramin Bank (Sponsored by PNB) and Gurgaon Gramin Bank (Sponsored by Syndicate Bank), through gazette notification No. S.O. 3536(E), dated November 29, 2013 by the Government of India and became the sole Regional Rural Bank of the State with Headquarter at Rohtak.
