EMBLEM OF PUNJAB 
Maharaja Ranjit Singh was the remarkable leader who united the whole Punjab under one flag. His rule stretched from the banks of the Yamuna to the Khyber and from Kashmir to Multan. The emblem of Punjab state government shows the Asoka Capital and its motto, being the emblem of India, surrounded by a bordure charged in chief with an ear of rice and in base with two swords in saltire and on the dexter and sinister the words ‘पंजाब सरकार’ in Devanagari and 'ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ' in Gurmukhii. Below the seal is a ribbon with the title 'Govt. Punjab'. The emblem is tinctured orange.

KONERU LAKSHMAIAH EDUCATION FOUNDATION Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) has been deemed to be university since 2009. Earlier it was known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE) and Koneru Lakshmaiah University, located in Vaddeswaram, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh. The red and blue emblem of the foundation has a gear wheel with twelve teeth of which nine bear the symbols of nine planets. It houses the motifs of a factory, atomic symbol, a bridge and a transmission tower within a circle. There is a border around the circle bearing its name and its motto ‘Knowledge Leadership Universality’. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure. The other motifs denote the fields of engineering the university offers to the students. The icons of nine planets may signify the relevance and wishes of the university to benefit from their movements.

The gearwheel is supported by a pair of smaller gear wheels at the bottom sides. The motifs of a structural bridge and electrical transmission towers are placed inside the smaller gear wheels referring to the study of engineering. The gearwheels denote interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the lighthouse refers to guidance, safety and resilience.
