150 YEARS OF CELEBRATING MAHATMA
In 2019, the nation has celebrated 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a man who inspired all to fight against colonial rule. Born on October 2, 1869, the Father of the Nation is known for his struggles for non-violence, equality and freedom. The logo for this occasion is comprising of motif of the Charkha, an outlined abstract picture of Mahatma Gandhi and the word mark '150 years of celebrating Mahatma'. The charkha is integrated with the number of years of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The emblem of the university is circular and made up of elements in yellow, orange and red shades. At its centre is the map of Rajasthan State with a staff encircled with a pair of serpents and wings symbolising Greek and Roman Gods of health called Hermes and Mercury adapted as a symbol of modern medical science along with the year of its establishment ‘2006 A.D’. The map is encircled by a pair of twigs of leaves which in Western philosophy symbolises Olive branches which is an expression of peace, love and harmony. SIDO KANHU MURMU UNIVERSITY The erstwhile Sido Kanhu University (SKU), now rechristened Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) was founded on January 10, 1992 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly. With the formation of the State of Jharkhand in 2000 the university comes under the new State Government of Jharkhand. The circular emblem of the university has a stem of tendu with three leaves surrounded by a swan, palash flower, mahua flower bud and its motto in Sanskrit ‘नीरक्षीरविवेकिनी  विद्या’ meaning ‘Education to Discriminate Water and Milk’. These are ensconced by a circle which bears its name in Devanagari and English and its year of establishment. At the bottom, the traditional drum used by the tribal population is placed. All these are circumscribed by a traditional running design of the locale. The motifs of all the elements used in the emblem are representative of the State and the geography the university is located in.

PRADHAN MANTRI JAN AROGYA YOJANA Ensuring good health cover or quality hospital services for the citizens of India, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) was launched in 2018 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Also known as the Ayushman Bharat Yojana or the National Health Protection Scheme, the initiative aims at making required interventions in the healthcare systems in the country. The PM-JAY logo shows the expanded form written in Devanagari script at the top. The middle part shows the icon of a human being sitting in an upright position and is preceded by petals of a flower, which symbolizes sound health and wellbeing. This spot also mentions आयुष्मान भारत in Devanagari script, which indicates longevity or long life of human beings. The acronym of the scheme is given at the bottom.

8 MOUNTAIN DIVISION The 8 Mountain Division was raised in 1963 to combat insurgency in Nagaland. The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School was established at Vairangte, Mizoram to impart pre-induction training to all the incoming units. Towards the end of the 1960s, this Division had well over thirty battalions under command, including those of the Assam Rifles and the other Central Police Organisations. The formation badge and sleeve patch of this Division has numeral 8 in gold with red dagger through the centre on black background.

It was established as Central University of Bihar (CUB) and the name since changed by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014 to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed.
