SWATCH BHARAT ABHIYAN
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) or Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) is a nation-wide campaign launched by the Government of India on October 2, 2014, the 145th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The mission aimed for open-defecation free India by October 2, 2019, along with cleaning up of the streets, roads and infrastructure of Indian cities, towns, urban and rural areas. Shri Anant Khasbardar of Kolhapur, Maharashtra has designed the logo while Bhagyasri Sheth of Rajkot, Gujarat provided the tagline in Devanagari 'एक कदम स्वच्छता की ओर' meaning 'Step Towards a Clean India'. Spectacles of Mahatma Gandhi with its bridge in the tricolour signifies, the nation uniting to achieve the vision of Mahatma for a clean India.

GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, DEHRA (GC DEHRA) The blue colour emblem of Government College, Dehra (GC Dehra) features a circle housing the motifs of an open book and radiating sun and the text ‘Estd 2017’. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A pair of laurels supports the border. Below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge & Empowerment’ is written. The book signifies the pursuit of higher education, standard knowledge acquisition and open access to academic exploration for all students; the sun represents the dispelling of ignorance through enlightenment and the bright future awaiting empowered graduates; and the laurels are traditional symbol representing academic achievement, honour and victory in the pursuit of personal excellence.

The motifs are ensconced by the name of the college in Devanagari and English in red. The motto of the college ‘Education Liberates’ and in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa, Rishi Parāśara), which translates to ‘Knowledge is the One That Liberates’ is written below the book. The mountain range reflects the local landscape of Kotli; the flowing water represents the local water streams running through the valley, symbolising continuous movement, vitality and life; and the book is a universal symbol for knowledge, learning and academic pursuit.

GOVERNMENT COLLEGE KUKUMSERI (GC KUKUMSERI) The emblem of Government College Kukumseri (GC Kukumseri) features an image of a yellow Sonki flower (Senecio bombayensis or Jacobaea bombayensis) ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत’ (Mantra 14, Valli 3, Chapter 1, Kathopanishad), which translates to ‘Arise, Awake and Stop Not till the Goal is Reached’. The Sonki is a bright yellow wild bloom native to the high-altitude rocky plateaus and cold Himalayan mountain ranges and valleys of the Lahaul region. It blooms extensively at the end of the monsoon season, carpeting the landscape in a golden-yellow hue. It serves as a visual anchor symbolizing the unique geographic heritage, growth, resilience, and beauty flourishing in a harsh environment.

(ADCC Bank) has a map of the District supporting a cow with calf; a crest of cereal and an ear of corn is placed on a yellow circle ensconced by a red gear wheel inscribed with its name and place in Devanagari.
