EMBLEM OF TELANGANA
The State emblem of Telangana has Kakatiya Kala Thoranam in the middle and the Charminar inside it and bordered in green. The emblem is a circular seal consisting of the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam and Charminar with Sarnath Sarnath Lion Capital above. It has ‘Government of Telangana’ in English, ‘Telangana Sarkar’ in Urdu and ‘Telangana Prabhutvamu’ in Telugu. Satyameva Jayate is written in Sanskrit. The emblem was designed by painter Laxman Aelay and was adopted on June 2, 2014 after the newly formed government headed by K. Chandrashekar Rao adopted it. It was the first file to be signed by him after swearing in. Subsequently, Charminar was included on the advice of Asaduddin Owaisi. Initially the national motto was written below the emblem, which was corrected on representation by Kadyans, with an amendment approved by the Government of Telangana on June 25, 2014. This was carried out by the designer, by moving the Satyameva Jayate below the Sarnath Lion Capital, complying with the national norm. The Government of Telangana emblem can be represented on a white background.

PES INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (PESIT) The logo of PES Institute of Technology (PESIT) features a globe with India in the middle ensconced by a compass rose, also called a wind rose, rose of the winds or compass star in red and orange colour placed in a blue circle. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; and the compass lets the students break the boundaries into the new world. The name of the university is written adjacent to the emblem.

SAHARSA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (SCE) The emblem of Saharsa College of Engineering (SCE) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college. The counter of the wheel houses the motifs of an open book supporting a human figure with outstretched hands surrounded by a dish antenna, a microscope, a helicopter and tower. The gearwheel is supported by a pair of laurels and a banner placed below the seal is inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’. GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE BOKARO (GEC BOKARO) The emblem of Government Engineering College Bokaro (GEC Bokaro) uses the emblem of the Jharkhand University of Technology. This features the map of the State of Jharkhand placed inside a gear wheel supported by a traditional lamp and surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ is placed inside a white circle.
