Its initials ‘PUCB’ in red is placed above and a pair of blue laurels are placed on sides. The shaking hands denotes cooperation and togetherness and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’.
