87TH AKHILA BHARATA KANNADA SAHITYA SAMMELANA, MANDYA-2024 The emblem of 87th Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, Mandya-2024 (KSS) is presented as a throne on which Goddess Cauvery is placed with a backdrop of river Cauvery and its Krishnarajasagara Dam, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary and irrigated fields. The throne is crested with the motif of Goddess Bhuvaneswari holding the National Flag of Bharat with the flag Karnataka atop. A map of Karnataka is placed on the left and the portrait of the erstwhile king of Mysore is placed on either side. The back of the throne is inscribed with the name of the Sammelana in Kannada in a semicircular border. This is ensconced by a border of sugarcanes representing the agricultural produce of Mandya.
