These are ensconced by a oval border inscribed with its name in English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत्यम् शिवम् सुन्दरम्’ meaning ‘God is True, God is Great and God is Beautiful’. A circle with cyan and blue holds all the elements.

UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU The University of Jammu (UoJ) came into existence in 1969 through the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act 1969 following bifurcation of the erstwhile University of Jammu and Kashmir.
