On the sides of the shield ‘Self Help’ is written. These are ensconced by a circular border with outlines bearing the name and place of the bank. The shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the flowing water refers to life, motion and fertility and the birds refer to freedom, transcendence and connection to the divine.
