At the bottom, on a banner placed between the elephants is inscribed with ‘Engineering’ and its tagline ‘Manpower Development’ is written below. The elephants represent the State of Kerala. This assemblage is placed above an open book supported by a pair of laurels. On a circular border inscribed with its name is ensconcing all these. On the banner, placed at the bottom, its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’ is inscribed.
