Below the seal, on a red banner, the motto of the college ‘கற்றனைத் தூறுமறிவு’ (396, Thirukkural, Thiruvalluvar) meaning ‘Knowledge will Flow to the Extent of the Education Acquired by the People’. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
