The circular green colour emblem of Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) has a globe referring to earth with layers of atmosphere, water and the soil with ‘झारखण्ड’ written in between.  Its acronym is written below the globe. All these are ensconced by a thick thick circular border. The colour green symbolises all the elements of nature, agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
