The cyan and blue circular emblem of Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board (HPPCB) has a globe referring to earth with white mountains, cyan sky and blue waters. These denote layers of atmosphere, water and the soil. These motifs in a circle are ensconced by a circular border with outlines houses the name of the Board and its tagline ‘Environment Protection’. The acronym is written below the circular seal in black. The colour blue symbolises all the elements of nature, serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the cyan denotes sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation, emotional balance. Overall, the emblem represents the mountainous State well.
