The emblem of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is a wordmark of its acronym written in sans serif blue bold lowercase, with the letter ‘a’ is depicted as a sun glowing with yellow, red, orange, green, blue, purple, violet and indigo colours referring to the sunshine State of Andhra Pradesh. The rainbow colours also refer to the variety and varied scope of tourism opportunities available in the State. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
