The circular green and blue emblem of Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB) has a map of the State of Nagaland  placed above a flowing wavy water over the globe of earth. These represent layers of atmosphere, water and the soil. These motifs are ensconced by a white border with green outlines, on which its tagline ‘Cleaner & Healthier Nagaland’ and the name of the Board are written. The colour green symbolises all the elements of nature, agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the colour blue denotes nature, serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
