The emblem of Department of Tourism, West Bengal (DTWB) is a wordmark of ‘Bengal’ written in a sans serif experimental face in abstract multicolours. This is surmounted by ‘Experience’ and supported by ‘The Sweetest Part of India’. The ascending and descending strokes terminate in an angle and counters are kept open by the descenders. The logo is prominent and interesting.

KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION  Kalakshetra literally means a holy place of arts (Kala: Arts, Kshetra: Field or Holy place). Deriving inspiration from this noble ideal, Kalakshetra Foundation was established. Kalakshetra Foundation as it is known today was recognised by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 1993 and is now an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. GRAPHIC ERA Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) was known earlier as Graphic Era Institute of Technology which was in operation since 1997. The Graphic Era Educational Society (GEES) is a non-profit organisation. The emblem of the university has a gear wheel, which is half and half black carrying its motto ‘Transforming Dreams Into Reality’ on top and its name at the bottom. Within this the monogram of its acronym ‘GE’ is designed as a torch in orange and red. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; the torch symbolises  enlightenment and hope; the colour orange symbolises  energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
