The emblem of Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) is derived from orange swastika, which ends are closing and in its counters holding the words of समृध्दि, विकास, संस्कृति  and विद्या meaning Prosperity, Development, Culture and Education are written. This is supported by a lotus with petals in the colours of purple, blue, cyan,and green colours. Below the pictorial its acronym is written in black in thin sans serif type. The swastika denotes auspicious ness and goodness in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the multiple colours represent the range and scope of the management education.
