INDIAN COUNCIL OF MEDICAL RESEARCH 

The logo of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has a seal and a word mark. The circular seal houses a three tier pillar with three burning lamps on it. This is supported by a banner which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘परीक्ष्यकारिणो हि कुशला भवन्ति’ (211, Charaka Samhita Yaha) meaning ‘For the Examiners are Skilled’. These are ensconced by a circular border with blue outlines, which carries its name and place in Devanagari and English. On the right of the seal its acronym is written as word mark using lowercase and experimental typeface with the dot on the ‘i’ in red colour. Below this its name is written in cyan and at the bottom its tagline ‘Serving the nation since 1911’. The red dot refers to the individual beneficiary; the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty; the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour cyan sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation and emotional balance.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
