The emblem of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college housing the motifs of a pair gear wheels, sun, a satellite dish antenna, an electrical transmission tower, a computer, a factory and a water dam. Below the gearwheel, on a green banner, the motto of the college ‘नवीनं विज्ञानं विजयताम्’ meaning ‘May the New Science Win’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
