The emblem of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's Karmaveer Adv. Baburao Ganpatrao Thakare College of Engineering (MVP'S's KBGTCOE) features a portrait of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj placed in a circle and ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the managing body and its place in Devanagari. The seal is supported by an open book, a traditional lamp and a lotus. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘बहुजन हिताय बहुजन सुखाय’ (Vinayapitaka, Tripitaka) meaning ‘For the Good of the Many’. The lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the lamp symbolises symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom.

NORTH EASTERN INDIRA GANDHI REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SCIENCES The insignia of North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) has a Staff of Caduceus entwined by a serpent crested by a flame of fire and surmounted by its tagline in Latin ‘Ad Scientia et Vita’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. The Staff is supported by green mountains with orange rising sun and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् जीवनम् च प्रति’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. These are ensconced by a blue circle around which its name is written. This is supported by a pair of laurels. Below these motifs its acronym is written. The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.

The programme will be organised under the framework of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'. IIT-Madras and Banaras Hindu University are the hosting partners of this mega event. THE BIHAR REGIMEN The Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim influences intermingled to produce a soldiery which was traditionally arms bearing, disciplined and deeply religious. The Bihar Regiment claims its origins from the sepoy battalions raised in 1758 by Clive at Patna. The Bihari or poorbia or purviah soldier thereafter continued to provide the backbone of The Bengal Infantry of the British. Its Regimental Centre is Danapur, Bihar and its Regimental insignia is the Ashoka lion. Its Regimental motto is ‘Karam Hi Dharam’ (Work is Worship) and its war cry is ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ (Victory to Bajrang Bali)and ‘Birsa Munda Ki Jai’ (Victory to Birsa Munda).
