The emblem of Shri Sai College of Engineering & Technology (SSCET) features a hand of a  woman and a man supporting a circular seal. The seal has a circle carrying the motifs of a computer, a satellite dish antenna, an electrical transmission tower, an open book, a lathe machine, and a factory ensconced by a yellow circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’. The supporting hands are that of the stakeholders who nurture and nourish the education in the college; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.

GOVERNMENT GANDHI MEMORIAL SCIENCE COLLEGE, JAMMU (GGM SC JAMMU) The emblem of Government Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu (GGM SC Jammu) features three orange and cyan feathers held by a royal coronet with a scroll inscribed with the motto ‘Ich Dien’ of the college in Old German, which translates to ‘I Serve’. The name of the college surmounts the motifs and its year of establishment is written at the bottom. The college was originally established in 1905 as the Prince of Wales College to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales (later King George V) to Jammu. COLUMBA'S COLLEGE, HAZARIBAGH (SCC) The emblem of St. Columba's College, Hazaribagh (SCC) features a light blue shield inscribed with the motifs of a cross, a dove, elements like elements including a castle, a lion and a harp, a leopard (or panther) and a coiled serpent, along with the letter ‘M’ and a figure representing Saint Columba (an Irish abbot and missionary) standing before a rising sun. Below the shield, on a blue banner, the motto of the college in Latin ‘Domine Quis Habitabit?’ (opening of Psalm 15 in the Bible) meaning ‘Lord, who may dwell’ is written. MAHATMA GANDHI NATIONAL RURAL EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE SCHEME The logo of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) has a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi with motifs of human working on projects with ‘100’ written referring to one hundred days of work. The name of the programme is written on a brown band above. A tricolour band supports the motifs and a blue band below bears the name of the sponsoring Ministry.

The university was inaugurated on October 21, 2007 by its founder.
