The emblem of Ballarpur Institute of Technology (BIT) is a blue shield housing the motifs of a globe supporting a red banner inscribed with the tagline ‘The Knowledge World’ of the college and the initials of the college ’BIT’ The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness.
