The blue and grey seal of Ansaldo College of Education (AnsaldoBEd) features a globe supporting an open book and a pair of abstract humans with mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels. A cross crests the motifs and its initials ‘ACE’ and its year of inception support them. The assemblage is placed on a blue shield which is placed on a grey circle which is ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college. Below the seal, on a blue banner, the motto of the college ‘Educate to Edify’ is inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the humans with mortarboard hats refer to the successful graduates; and the Cross refers to the divine grace and religious affiliation of the college.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
