The emblem of SVKM's Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic & College of Engineering (SSBPCE) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a water dam, a furnace with molten metal and a power transmission tower with lines referring to the subject disciplines of engineering. The shield is crested by a motif of a factory and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’. The seal is circumscribed by the name of the college and the assemblage is placed in a gearwheel. The wheel is supported by a pair of laurels. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the laurels are  symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
