The emblem of Vidhya Vikas Plus The Institute of Education (VVPTIE) features a gopuram, a crescent moon with star, a cross, an open book and a pair of lamps ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A tiara crests the seal and a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘எம் பணி கற்றல் கற்பித்தல்’ meaning ‘Our work is to Learn and Teach’. The name of the college is written on the right of the seal. The symbols of different religions refer to the college’s universal outlook; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the tiara refers to royalty, status, power, wealth, beauty, victory and divinity.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature.
