The blue emblem of the National Institute For Locomotor Disabilities (NILD) has the motifs a human bound by a triangle, an open book, a banner with its motto in Sanskrit ‘प्रतिवन्धेषु निर्भयः’ meaning ‘Fearless in the Face of Obstacles’ are held in a blue circle. The circle is ensconced by a white border on which its name and year of establishment is written. The human inside a triangle is the person who is handicapped by obstacles and the open book refers to knowledge, education, wisdom and learning.

BENGALURU NORTH UNIVERSITY The Government of Karnataka has notified the establishment of Bengaluru North University by trifurcating the erstwhile Bangalore University through its Gazette Notification on August 13, 2015 and was inaugurated on September 21, 2017. This is a State University located in Kolar in Karnataka. The emblem of the university depicts the importance of the jurisdictional area through its geographical features, scientific development and the rhythm of people’s lives. RAJA SHANKAR SHAH UNIVERSITY, CHHINDWARA Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara University (RSUC) has been established by the GOvernment of Madhya Pradesh dated June 17, 2019. The green colour octagonal emblem of the university is a pictorial of a flower created using the motifs of three open books, seven humans and reading of books standing on a pedestal. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written.
