The emblem of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (PDUNIPPD) has Staff of Asclepius with an entwined serpent topped by a red flame of torch and supported by an open book on a blue circle. It is supported by a pair of green laurels on sides and a yellow semicircular banner carrying its name. At the bottom the name of the place is written on a banner. The Staff represents medicine and medical profession; the flame of torch refers to enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the book refers to education, learning, knowledge and wisdom and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
