The circular seal of Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT) features a circle divided into three parts housing the motifs of a dam, an antenna and a computer and a pair of gears meshed. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and place and supported by a banner, inscribed with its motto ‘Prosperity Through Technology’. The motifs in the circle refer to the different fields of engineering.
