he pictorial emblem of The Coimbatore District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. (CDCC Bank) features three stylised and interlocking shapes, representing the ‘CDCC’. These are designed to look like an infinity symbol, symbolising continuity, strength through unity, and the cyclical nature of financial services. The interlocking shapes are enclosed within a double-lined circle,  with its tagline ‘To Top All’ and ‘To Tap All’ which adds a sense of containment and unity to the design. Below the motif, its short name ‘CDCC Bank’ is written on a banner. The use of blue and white gives the emblem a clean, professional, and trustworthy appearance, which is common in the financial sector.

VALLABHACHARYA TILAK The tilak of Vallbhacharyas is said to consist of two white lines down the forehead, forming a half-circle at its base and a white dot between them. Vallabhacharya (1479–1531 CE) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India, following the philosophy of ‘Shuddha Advaita’ (Pure Non-dualism). He wrote a very important commentary called ‘Shri Bhashya’. The Vallabhacharya sect worships Krishna in his character of Bala Gopala.

THE JAMMU & KASHMIR LIGHT INFANTRY India's first Light Infantry was born out of the peoples' response in 1947, to the invasion of Kashmir by Pakistan. In the difficult days of the invasion, the population formed local defence groups. These were later organised into militias responsible for specific sectors, e.g., Leh, Nubra, Jammu, Punch, etc. Over a period, these were grouped into the Militia battalions. Two of these were later converted into the Ladakh Scouts. The militia battalions operated with skill on the Line of Control (LoC) and in the 1971 Indo-Pak War earned three battle honours. In 1972, the militia battalions were brought on par with the army units, and in 1976 designated the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI). The 8th JAK LI earned great honour by capturing a Pakistani post at 21,000 feet at the Siachen Glacier in 1987.
