THE BUNDI CENTRAL CO-OPERATIVE BANK LTD. (BCCB BUNDI)

The emblem of The Bundi Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. (BCCB Bundi) features a blue abstract shape using two curved lines ensconcing a one Rupee coin and a stylised representation of a twig of a plant with leaves, symbolising growth, nature, and agriculture. These are placed within a circular border with grey outlines, which is inscribed with its name and place. The curved strokes surrounding the coin represent unity and continuity and the coin refers to money, savings, banking and finance.

COTTON UNIVERSITY Cotton University (CU) was formerly known as Cotton College, the institute was established in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam. It became a constituent college of Gauhati University in 1948. In 2011 the Cotton College State University was established vide an Act of the Government of Assam, with the college as a constituent. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form. This script eventually gave rise to several other Southeast Asian scripts such Khmer. The Chinese traveller Xuanzang visited Kanchipuram during Pallava rule and extolled their benign rule.
