The shield is surmounted by a banner, which is inscribed with the name of the college in Tamil and supported by banner inscribed with its motto in Tamil ‘தொழில் நுட்பம் வினைத் திட்பம்’ meaning ‘Technology is Perfection in Work’. The shield is supported by decorative elements of floral motifs and ornate borders.
