The rainbow coloured emblem of Cuddalore District Central Co-op Bank Ltd. (CDCC Bank) has a big and bold ‘C’ written with seven colour bands representing inclusivity, diversity, and the wide range of services the bank offers to different sections of the community. On a blue panel placed inside the letter counter of ‘C’, its short name ‘CDCC Bank’ and its year of inception are written along with a motif of handshake. Its full name surmounts the banner and its celebratory logo of the centenary year supports it. The handshake refers to partnership, cooperation, and trust, which are core values of cooperative banking.

COTTON UNIVERSITY Cotton University (CU) was formerly known as Cotton College, the institute was established in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam. It became a constituent college of Gauhati University in 1948. In 2011 the Cotton College State University was established vide an Act of the Government of Assam, with the college as a constituent. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form.
