The shield is supported by a pair of ears corn, a pair of crests of paddy and a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil. All these are ensconced by a brown circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the laptop and the laboratory equipment refer to science and technology; the graduating students with mortarboard hat symbolise educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the corn and the paddy refers to agriculture, growth, sustenance, and fertility.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

THE QUAIDE MILLETH COLLEGE FOR MEN (QMCMEN) The emblem of The Quaide Milleth College for Men (QMCMen) features a green gearwheel inscribed with the quote from Quran in Arabic ‘مَن يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا ’ (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:269) meaning ‘And whoever is granted wisdom has certainly been granted much Good’ and its motto ‘The Quest’.
