The emblem of Vidayaa Vikas College of Education (VVCE) features a circle housing an image of Goddess Saraswati with an open book and a traditional lamp on the sides ensconced by a green circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The tagline of the college ‘May All the World Be Happy’ is written on a banner placed below the seal. At the bottom the motto of the college ‘End of Education is Perfection in Humanity’ is written on the wall of the supporting platform. Goddess Saraswati embodies the essence of vach (speech), knowledge, and creative expression, symbolising the power to purify the self through the flow of wisdom and art. She represents the pursuit of knowledge and truth, free from the distractions and illusions of the material world. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. GOKHALE INSTITUTE OF POLITICS AND ECONOMICS The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPS), Pune, was established in 1930 by the Servants of India Society (SIS). It is the oldest research and training institute in economics in the country. Gokhale was the one who founded the Servants of India Society in 1905. In recognition of its contribution to higher learning and research in Economics, the Institute was awarded the status of institution 'Deemed to be a University', in 1993. ARMY AIR DEFENCE In 1994, after bifurcation of Air Defence Artillery from the Regiment of Artillery, a committee was set up for selection of the corps crest. The committee appointed National Institute of Design (NID), at Ahmedabad, for designing the AAD crest. Mr Vijay Singh designed the crest. The crest of Corps of Army Air Defence reflects the neo-facet of Army Air Defence. The crest embellished in hues of silver and gold comprises a missile with radar antennae on either side. The fiery exhaust of the missile and the radar radiations emitting outward signify the ever readiness and omni-competence of the Army Air Defence gunners. The crest is emblazoned with the Corps motto, ‘Akashe Shatrun Jahi’ meaning ‘Kill the Enemy in the Sky’ which is engraved in Devanagri script on the scroll placed below. The Corps changed its designation, from Air Defence Artillery to Army Air Defence, with effect from  April 18, 2005.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.

EMBLEM OF KERALA The State emblem of Kerala is derived from the traditional Travancore state emblem, the conch-shell Sri Padmanhnabha Shanka is surrounded by a garland. The two elephants guarding the state and national insignias and is a derivative of Royal Coat of Arms of Kingdom of Travancore. The elephant denotes the supremacy and power and the state has the largest number of captivated elephants. The central part of the emblem carries Sree Padmanabha's Shankhu. The Shanku was one of the most iconic emblems found throughout Kerala's history and was the official insignia of Sree Ananthapadmanabha Swamy- the National deity and emperor of Erstwhile Travancore over which India's national emblem is found.
