The circular emblem of National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) in peach, brown, yellow ochre cyan and black has an open book supported by a pair of laurels on sides, by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad ) meaning ‘May All be Healthy’, surmounted by its name in Devanagari and crested by the National Lion Emblem. Below the motifs on a brown banner its name is written in white. The open book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR TEACHER EDUCATION National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), as a statutory body of Government of India, came into existence in pursuance of the National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993 on August 17, 1995. The emblem of NCTE has an abstract symbol which shows a pair of hands supporting a light or lotus bud held by a pair of strong hands symbolise, enabling the teachers in their profession. The emblem of the Universityhas its motto ‘सरस्वती श्रुतिमहताम महीयतम्’ (May the sayings of the wise be glorified) which is a quotation from Kalidasa, inscribed in it.
