The circular pictorial seal of North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Folk Medicine Research (NEIAFMR) has a scene of Himalayan Mountains and  blue sky representing the States' geography, housing the motifs of a pair of green hands supporting a lotus and a mortar and pestle; its acronym and its tagline in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘May All be Healthy’. The mortar and pestle refer to the traditional medical systems; the lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the supporting hands refer to the nourishing and protecting efforts made toward folk medicines.

The logo of the merged entity has absorbed the brand colours blue and purple of both the LTI and Mindtree respectively, while retaining their monogram and emblem. KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION  Kalakshetra literally means a holy place of arts (Kala: Arts, Kshetra: Field or Holy place). Deriving inspiration from this noble ideal, Kalakshetra Foundation was established. Kalakshetra Foundation as it is known today was recognised by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 1993 and is now an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Its logotype in yellow ochre colour ‘kalakshetra’ is written in calligraphic style in lower case and over lapping this at its bottom ‘Foundation’ is written in brown colour.
