The circular pictorial seal of North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Folk Medicine Research (NEIAFMR) has a scene of Himalayan Mountains and  blue sky representing the States' geography, housing the motifs of a pair of green hands supporting a lotus and a mortar and pestle; its acronym and its tagline in Sanskrit ‘рд╕рд░्рд╡े рд╕рди्рддु рдиिрд░ाрдордпाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘May All be Healthy’. The mortar and pestle refer to the traditional medical systems; the lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the supporting hands refer to the nourishing and protecting efforts made toward folk medicines.

NATIONAL BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) at the instance of the Government of India, constituted a Committee to Review the Arrangements for Institutional Credit for Agriculture and Rural Development (CRAFICARD) to look into these very critical aspects in 1979. Its recommendation was formation of a unique development financial institution. The creation National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) was approved by the Parliament through Act 61 of 1981. NABARD came into existence on July 12, 1982. Consequent to the revision in the composition of share capital between Government of India and RBI, NABARD today is fully owned by the Government of India. Its emblem in green colour has a plant with a cereal protected by a multi layered eccentric circles, meaning layered growth and protection, supported gently by cusping hands. The Devanagari acronym is placed at its bottom.

INDIAN SIGN LANGUAGE RESEARCH & TRAINING CENTRE The insignia of Indian Sign Language Research & Training Centre (ISLRTC) in National Tricolours has a partial gear wheel in blue colour holding its name in orange and green in Devanagari and English housing a motif of a human showing hand signs supported by an open book. The wheel is crested by a mortarboard hat and below this assemblage on a black banner the name of the place is written. The gear wheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the mortarboard hat refers to  educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage and the book refers to learning, education, wisdom and knowledge.

DIRECTORATE OF RICE RESEARCH Directorate of Rice Research (DRR) formerly All India Coordinated Rice Improvement Project - AICRIP, was established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research - ICAR in 1965 with its national headquarters at Hyderabad to organize and coordinate multi-location testing of genetic lines and technologies for crop production and protection generated across the country. The Project was elevated to Directorate of Rice Research in 1975 with an added mandate of research in the thrust areas of irrigated rice. The Directorate continues its multi-location All India Coordinated Rice Improvement Programme (AICRIP) with active partnership of funded cooperating centers affiliated to State Agricultural Universities, State Department of Agriculture and other Research Institutes of ICAR. The emblem has glowing sun in the backdrop. On top of is a  fully grown stem of rice supported by the acronymn of the organisation on a green slab.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH AND REHABILITATION The green and orange insignia of National Institute of Mental Health and Rehabilitation (NIMHR) has a motif of a brain surmounted by a green arc and supported by a pair of hands and a lotus. Below the flower, the acronym of the institution is written. The name of the institution in Devanagari is placed above the motif and in English is placed below the motif. The brain refers to mental health and the arc refers to the protection provided; the supporting hands refers to the care and aid; and lotus refers to the tenderness of its efforts. Both the colours symbolise care, rejuvenation, support, nourishment and growth.
