The yellow colour circular seal of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) has a map of India with waters of Indian ocean holding a poorna kumbha supported by its tagline in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘May All be Healthy’ is written. Its name is written around the map in blue and red in Devanagari and English. Poorna Kumbha refers to prosperity and abundance and the land and ocean refers to the native knowledge of medicine and healthcare.

At the bottom, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘‘கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு’ (Thiruvalluvar, 396, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed is placed on the seal. Athiyaman and Avvaiyar refer to history and heritage; the book, sun and the humans refer to education and educational achievement; the tree refers to nature, sustenance and growth; the computer refers to technology; and the dam refers to the local landmark.
