The circular seal of National Institute of Sowa Rigpa (NISR) has a blue colour vase of flowers referring to purity, impermanence, cycles of life, serenity and peace is placed on a circle divided into white, blue, yellow, green and red pies representing the scope, variety and nature of illnesses and cure. A motif of a laboratory flask is placed above the vase. The circle is ensconced by a cyan circular border on which the name of the Institute is written in Tibetan, Devanagari and English.

It was established as Central University of Bihar (CUB) and the name since changed by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014 to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). The Executive Council of the Central University of Bihar passed a resolution and accepted the logo of the university on November 20, 2010. The new logo of the university came into existence in August, 2018. The logo of the University is an adaptation of a peepal tree symbolising the rich culture of Bihar. It is a visual identity of the university representing education, wisdom and enlightenment. RAJASTHAN UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) was established under the Act of State Government The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Act, 2005 (Act No. 1 of 2005) on February 25, 2005. The emblem of the university is circular and made up of elements in yellow, orange and red shades. At its centre is the map of Rajasthan State with a staff encircled with a pair of serpents and wings symbolising Greek and Roman Gods of health called Hermes and Mercury adapted as a symbol of modern medical science along with the year of its establishment ‘2006 A.D’. 8 MOUNTAIN DIVISION The 8 Mountain Division was raised in 1963 to combat insurgency in Nagaland. The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School was established at Vairangte, Mizoram to impart pre-induction training to all the incoming units. Towards the end of the 1960s, this Division had well over thirty battalions under command, including those of the Assam Rifles and the other Central Police Organisations. The formation badge and sleeve patch of this Division has numeral 8 in gold with red dagger through the centre on black background.

VIT BHOPAL UNIVERSITY VIT Bhopal University is a private university in Kothri Kalan in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established by the Vellore Institute of Technology. The blue colour emblem of VIT is the Sri Jalakandeswarar temple, located within Vellore Fort. Its gopuram and walls are prominent in this circular emblem with ‘VIT’ written above. SIDO KANHU MURMU UNIVERSITY The erstwhile Sido Kanhu University (SKU), now rechristened Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) was founded on January 10, 1992 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly. With the formation of the State of Jharkhand in 2000 the university comes under the new State Government of Jharkhand. The circular emblem of the university has a stem of tendu with three leaves surrounded by a swan, palash flower, mahua flower bud and its motto in Sanskrit ‘नीरक्षीरविवेकिनी  विद्या’ meaning ‘Education to Discriminate Water and Milk’. These are ensconced by a circle which bears its name in Devanagari and English and its year of establishment. At the bottom, the traditional drum used by the tribal population is placed. All these are circumscribed by a traditional running design of the locale. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
