The circular seal of Annasaheb Magar Sahakari Bank Maryadit (AMS Bank) has an earl of corn and a factory placed inside a gear wheel ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and place. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘सहकार संजीवनी’ meaning ‘Cooperative Revival’ is placed below the circle. The motifs refer to the beneficiary sectors of the bank’s operations and the gear wheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, timing, order, synchronisation and structure.

COTTON UNIVERSITY Cotton University (CU) was formerly known as Cotton College, the institute was established in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form. This script eventually gave rise to several other Southeast Asian scripts such Khmer. The Chinese traveller Xuanzang visited Kanchipuram during Pallava rule and extolled their benign rule.
